[ What's the best way of wording this without causing Chinatsu too much worry, past what there already was? Then again, she's seen some of the things that Izaya has managed to cause from behind the scenes. ]

There was something of a misunderstanding between me and a bunch of seniors last year. Some people got hurt, but we were all suspended for a little while because of it.

[He lets out a chuckle that shows he didn't really rest that well. Slowly, he moves to stand up, picking up the suppressants.]

Good day? How much did you get?

[Maybe they can make it so it can last them a while.]

[ He'll take that bag with the suppressants and trade it with the money he's earned so far. ]

It'll get you a room while I continue working through the day to get something of a cushion for the next town or something. There's a couple more jobs that were offered while I'm here, so I'm gonna head back out to get those done.

Ah. That was right, wasn't it? That really was the only reason why she was offering to walk alongside him. So he let the third year go on to her own homeroom class as he put some things away in his locker to continue with the day.

What a... Surprisingly nice way to start the day. Not that it was going to stay that nice, with annoying friends/acquaintances in his year and some troublemakers. However it meant that he had something to look forward to after the day was done. Hopefully one where Alex didn't see some of the things that he's gotten pulled into, as she didn't seem to know who he was already. He'd kind of like to keep it that way.

Which is why he cleaned up after classes before getting to the doors. Ah, well it seems like it's still dripping a little, but the rain had mostly stopped.

Not really... But you shouldn't be surprised by that.

[ He doesn't exactly get hurt easily. Then again, Chinatsu has witnessed that first hand since they've started dating. ]

Alex never really lingered when class ended, but her rush this time was for a slightly different reason. It was strange, looking forward to something as simple as walking back with someone, but she was excited about it.

She's a little out of breath by the time she makes it to the lockers, resting her hand against it as she looks around, immediately spotting him.

"Hey..I..didn't make you wait, did I?"

This sounds like a trick question....

[ Which he says as the kisses start to trail along the jaw over to just below the ear, his teasing and pressing fingers pressing in just a little more before his hands drifted around the hips and on Izaya's ass. After a moment, he lifts his wife up onto the counter for better leverage. ]

Hasn't it always been good and deep?

[ He looks down over to where she tugged his arm before drifting over to her eyes. Dammit, she was giving that serious and concerned look. ]

Yeah, of course... If it was something out of the usual, or if it seemed like it'd spill out towards you and dance.

[ That only seemed right. Otherwise it's so typical and normal that he'd just forget to tell her. ]

Alright, maybe he wasn't completely expecting some senior to stick to the idea of meeting up with a younger classman. Especially someone with a reputation like his, though she seemed to be completely oblivious as to what it was.

"N-not at all. I wouldn't have been surprised if someone said you left already. Usually I'm the one that gets to this place later than others."

That's because a teacher would try to lecture him about the rules and his future, due to the fights that he'd get pulled into. Not that he'd share that part of it all.

[He does have an additional cushion if needed. He stands up.]

Did you get food?

[Because he will give you money if you didn't. And make you go eat.]

[Of course she was giving him that look. This guy had a tendency to downplay things that were a lot more serious.]

[Chinatsu will trust him on that, though she'll also keep a look out for any suspicious persons. She never really understood what people had against him. The guy was pretty much harmless by nature. The furrow in her brow doesn't disappear as they go back to walking.]

It was the other way for her. She tended to take longer because she was helping out a teacher or two. "Is that so?," she chuckles as she grabs the umbrella, popping it open. Alex waits for him to get under before heading out into the rain.

"Not part of any clubs?"

It's no more than I've done before.

[ The town he lived in really took advantage of the super strength alpha that was around, especially after all of those medicines shaped and limited the instincts they wanted and wanted to hide away.

Just don't go about doing the omega thing in making sure everyone's well taken care of with food and stuff. Not that he knows it's an omega thing. Or a pregnant omega thing. Right now he's interpreting the question as something else- a chore that he might've missed and was supposed to do. ]

You need me to go pick something up for you? I didn't grab anything because I don't know what you'd actually like.

[Hak doesn't understand that, he never did. He couldn't understand the desire of limiting an alpha.

Fortunately, Hak has enough alpha instincts in him to make sure the money is just for them.]

[ Hak shouldn't understand the idea of a town full of betas sending out all the omegas and alphas elsewhere and keeping one to use as they pleased and needed, instead of a proper and balanced town. Then again, the coastal towns in the water tribe were pretty messed up.

Besides, Hak wanted to keep some part of Shizuo's alpha instincts under the medicines he kept with him. ]

Ah, that. I was gonna get something after this next job. I just had to get another dose and figured I'd pass on what I made so far.

[A proper and balanced town. Hak would like to live in one again. Of course, he made the stupid decision to leave his own.]

Yeah, no.

[He takes a bit of money out and gives it to him.]

Go eat first. Go. I'll be at the inn resting and eating.

[don't call him out on motherly instincts, Shizuo. Don't you dare.]

[ He won't call out how you're acting, but he'll look down at the money you shoved into his hand. At the money and then back up, saying absolutely nothing. Instead he takes the last of those bottles to put back in the bag and hand back over. ]

I should be back before it's too dark. Just remember that the jars are fragile when you set things down at the inn.

[If you don't open your mouth, he won't say anything about it.]

I'll be careful.

[He nods, and moves towards the inn. He gets some food and takes the only room.

Which is a small room, with a single paired futon. The only room a pregnant omega was probably allowed to have.]

[ Beggars couldn't be choosers, and smaller rooms meant that they could stretch out the money for a little longer. The trick was that, while he was able to find the inn without any problem, they didn't exactly trust some stranger asking about a pregnant omega that checked in.

Even if everything that he was had been suppressed, it probably came across as a little too predatory for them. Especially with how filthy Shizuo ended up being after the last of those jobs.

It's frustrating when you want to be angry, and that was just blocked from turning into something. ]

[One of the people who worked there went and checked on Hak to ask him about someone who was asking to see him. Thankfully, Hak was able to describe him quite easily.

Which allowed Shizuo to come into the room, where he could see Hak sitting in just a light robe that barely fit him.]

[ Barely fit still counted as fit, which was the important thing for someone that barely knew the pregnant man. He really wasn't ready to know that much about a practical stranger. ]

You settled okay while I was gone? Ah, right.

[ He'll get the last of the money he's earned to add to the purse of their current funds. ]

This is the last from those jobs. It should make things a little easier for the next location.

[He looks at their funds. Then pulls out his own and adds them all together.]
