Ah. That was right, wasn't it? That really was the only reason why she was offering to walk alongside him. So he let the third year go on to her own homeroom class as he put some things away in his locker to continue with the day.
What a... Surprisingly nice way to start the day. Not that it was going to stay that nice, with annoying friends/acquaintances in his year and some troublemakers. However it meant that he had something to look forward to after the day was done. Hopefully one where Alex didn't see some of the things that he's gotten pulled into, as she didn't seem to know who he was already. He'd kind of like to keep it that way.
Which is why he cleaned up after classes before getting to the doors. Ah, well it seems like it's still dripping a little, but the rain had mostly stopped.
