[He was going to head out now, it's not that late.]

...Fine. Alright.

[He moves to sit down on the bed again, sighing.]

[ It's late enough and he's just worked all day. Which is why he's getting some things to take a bath. He knows that he stinks right now- and it's not the smell of sweat. ]

Just... Figure out something to order for dinner and I'll be back.

Fine.

[He can smell it. He doesn't want to smell it because it's making him feel incredibly weird. It reminds him too much of what happened previously.]

I'll think of something.

[ It's just what happens when you're trying to strictly ration medicine, but also burn it off from more intense labor than he's done in a while. That and he also smells like animals, because he'd been carrying injured or belligerent horses. All that Shizuo is aware of is the animal stench.

But he'll get some pants (he thought he grabbed a shirt too,) and head out, returning about an hour later. His hair is a wet and semi-curly mess and the damp towel is over his shoulders. At least he knocks to give Hak a heads up before opening and going into the room.

Being clean just meant that he didn't have the stench of animals covering his natural scent that was starting to come through. ]

Made a choice for dinner?

[What Shizuo walks in on is Hak rutting against one of the pillows. Which looks terrible that a pregnant man is doing that.

But it leads to the problem that the room smells like an in-need omega. And with the medicine having worn off, Shizuo isn't exactly going to last very long with the room smelling like that.]

[ Shizuo really didn't have much exposure with omegas, given the weird way his beta home village worked. Even more, he didn't really understand what it meant, looked like, or smelled like when an omega was in need. At this point, while his scent was coming through, his senses were still miles behind in catching up.

Not that his body was able to ignore what was happening, but he didn't really know the warning signs. Or when he was getting drawn in. ]

Uh...

[ What do, exactly? Does he just leave and lock the door, or stay and make sure nothing bad happens? He does end up deciding on the latter. The pregnant women in his village acted weird after a certain point, so maybe it was like that. ]

Hak, you gonna be okay...?

[ Probably not while his alpha scent was starting to grow potent, though nowhere near its full strength. ]

[When Hak hears him, Shizuo should have noticed the first sign of danger. He quickly stood up, in his naked and pregnant glory, made his way over to him and grabbed him by the collar, glaring at him.]

Take it out and fuck me.

[Forget the whole 'never wanting to be with an alpha'. Apparently Shizuo had done something wrong with his scent, where he was all sweaty, hot, and definitely smelling like an alpha.

So now he had to deal with this.]

[ He should have noticed. If he'd been around anything other than betas, he probably would have.

Except now here he was, half-dressed, with a naked and pregnant omega grabbing him by the towel he had around his shoulders, demanding- Wait, what? Surely he heard that wrong. Hak had made it clear of what he definitely didn't want up until now. ]

Take it... I thought the point was that I didn't.

[ Yet with that prominent and violent need coming off of Hak, he was already realizing how uncomfortable his pants were starting to get. Which is oddly fast and in conflict with the suppressants that were working in keeping his brain from responding properly. It really could only do so much. ]

[That's the problem with this. With Hak being an unmated omega. With the pregnancy progressing and making him worse and worse. The way he hadn't even touched another alpha since... that night.]

S... shut up...

[But there's so many issues. Hak does not want to do this. It's clear by his face, how he looks distressed by this entire thing. There will be regret in the morning.

But his mind is cloudy. And he wants Shizuo as of his current state.]

[ Yeah, Hak might look distressed, but Shizuo legitimately doesn't want this. Even if the sudden onslaught is starting to cause his body to react. Plus, it's just been awkward to be around Hak in general, given the way he'd always be on guard and everything. ]

H-how about you just go sit down and I'll figure something out.

[ Which is why he's heading for the jars and everything with his various medicines to just go and take another dose in hoping that would help things out. ]

Is opening a window supposed to help or just cause more problems?

[Hak will either be more or less on guard after this. He moves to sit down on the bed, trying to air his clothes out.]

E... Everyone will smell... keep it shut...

[He groans and moves to lay back down.]

T... There's a tea... supposed to remove heats... it's somewhere in the market...

[From what he heard, at least. It might be garbage, but Hak is laying here, wet and dying. Not a good look.]

[ Yeah, it really isn't a good look. They may have to get that tea and some backups- though he didn't realize that a pregnant omega could go into heat. Not that he knew much about omegas in the first place.

With all of the stuff running in his system, it's not like he could actually help with that in other ways, anyway. ]

Are you going to be safe while I go get this stuff?

[The problem is mainly that Hak had suppressed his heat so long, it wanted to fuck with him in such a way that makes his body burn. He feels heat and pain as he moves to try and get comfortable.]

Yeah... just lock everything up... I'll be fine...

[So long as they prevent anyone from coming in, he'll be fine.]

[ More things that Shizuo was ignorant to and had no chance of understanding. Especially when Hak had been so tight-lipped about these kinds of subjects. Whether it was because part of him was holding onto that pride or because he didn't want Shizuo understanding or tapping into the alpha nature that was buried so far deep into him, it didn't matter. It still left the blond dumb to it all. ]

Right... Just don't try to go out, I guess.

[ At least with his strength he had more unique ways of keeping the omega locked and kept inside the room. When he reached the final thing to be locked and jammed, he said one final thing; ]

I'll be as fast as I can.

[ Before he went and finished isolating the horny and pregnant omega. Which was better this way in the sense that after it passed, Hak would've had to live with even more regrets and awkwardness. So that left him, insides souring and burning in a different way, as he went to get that tea or whatever it was supposed to be. ]

[He just nods when he hears Shizuo, laying down and breathing heavily as he tries to pull himself in and get his thoughts together. Being alone here, and realizing exactly how mentally fucked up he was just made him realize that he needed to be honest and solve his problems without trying to hide them any longer.

Taking long deep breaths, he starts to calm down. His horniness is still rolling through him, but looking towards the door, he knows what he has to do from now on. He's an omega. Shizuo is an alpha. He's going to have to rely on him more than he might be comfortable with.]

[ While alone, time feels like it's going far slower than it should, extending the wait that Hak has to go through, it still takes too long for Shizuo to return. The sun had finished setting before the door finally unlocks and opens, and the alpha is holding a pouch with that tea kept inside it.

He was also considerably paler than before- though it could be a trick of the fading light. ]

Got... What you need.

[He does not look good. He really doesn't look good. Hak just simply nods and takes it before starting to brew it up.]

Thanks... what do you need?

[He'll take care of you now. That's his job.]

Just need to sit...

[ Said as he gets to a table and falls over just as his nose started to drip blood down to the upper lip. Twice the dosage was probably a very bad idea. ]

[He moves closer and starts to wipe him up a bit, trying to calm him down. He's really fucking up now, isn't he?]

You have to stop taking that shit, Shizuo.

If I'm off of them, then I can't get you to where you wanted...

[ And after working as hard as he did today, it was clear that he needed to take more to counter the stench that came through. ]

You should take that tea.

[hakingitup]

We'll figure something out... that has to be killing you.

[He's going to get the tea ready and start to sip on it when it is.]

We can do both of them. Promise.

You hate the slightest stench or sign of an alpha... Even when I'm on all the suppressants you snap when I sound too much like one.

[ How's he supposed to get you to your destination if his very existence makes you snappy? ]

...I'm going to work on it. But if you die before we get where we're going, it's not going to be much better.

[ What if he turns out to actually be like a monster or something? ]

We'll put you back on them or find something else if that happens. ...But it seems far less safe if you stay on it.
