[Brainwashing wasn't an uncommon thing even in high school apparently. Just a bit of this, and a bit of that, and suddenly... boom. You could make two people who hated one another be madly in love high school sweethearts. Which is what happened to Shizuo and Izaya. A few other helpful things? Shizuo stopped fighting. He wanted to be on one of the sports teams. Izaya was his cute boyfriend who was far more curvy than any boy should be, and focused his time on the newspaper club.
Before school started, Izaya waiting for Shizuo at the front. In a cute school girl outfit (thanks to some additional brainwashing that would make most people think Izaya was of the fairer sex), he looked towards the blonde who would be coming to school early. Standing there and waiting ever so patiently.
After all, if they were here early... they could have some fun.]
