"That's a relief," she chuckles, no really minding that he wasn't making eye contact. If anything, it helped make things less awkward. Except now, she wasn't sure what else to talk about. Now it was just the sound of the rain hitting the pavement as they made their way to the school. All the while Alex tried to come up with a topic, but before she knew it, they had reached the lockers and it was time to put the umbrella away.
"Ah...looks like we're here.." She might have been a little disappointed.
